But what is there to be jolly about?
The true meaning of Christmastide is lost
Shrouded by the unknowns of this world
Running after our dreams and ambitions
Sacrificing the rest so readily available
Seeking some sense of security
Forsaking the Prince of peace
Turning to worldly pleasures
Finding no true happiness
Ignoring the Lord
Forfeiting His salvation
My dear friends
This Christmastide
Slow down
Take time
